A gentle, fine-art portrait experience for girls and teens (10–18), and the mamas who are guiding them through it.
A space shaped by softness, presence, and an appreciation for the in-between seasons of growing up.
What Are Bloom Sessions?
Bloom Sessions are calm, guided, emotion-led portraits designed to capture who she is right now.
The innocence, the loveliness of childhood. Captured before the world tells her who she should be.
The way she laughs.
The way she fidgets.
The way she dreams.
The way she’s starting to take up space in her own story.
These are photographs she’ll cherish later,
and that you’ll treasure now.
WHO ARE BLOOM SESSIONS FOR?
• Girls and teens (10–18)

A Newcastle photographer and girl mum with more than twenty years’ experience capturing women, mothers, and the quiet beauty in ordinary moments.
Solace Blooms Studio grew from a simple idea: that girls deserve a space where they can feel calm, seen, and gently celebrated exactly as they are.
My approach is warm, patient, and guided by conversation, so every session feels safe and natural, never forced.
I can’t wait to show your daughter the beauty that already belongs to her.
A Space Designed With Safety & Comfort in Mind
The Solace studio is intentionally warm, soft, and gentle created to help girls relax without pressure or performance. Tunes flowing and high vibes for our sessions always.
• Parents are welcome to stay in the room
• OR use the designated Parent Zone just outside the shooting area
• OR step out briefly step next door for a coffee, whatever helps your daughter feel most herself
A simple parent consent form is completed before every session, and all sessions are conducted with respect, professionalism, and age-appropriate direction.
Your daughter’s comfort matters more than the perfect photo always.

The Mama Add On
Some of the most beautiful portraits happen not when she’s alone, but when she’s with you.
The Mama Add-On is a gentle, connection-led portrait experience addition designed to capture the relationship between you and your daughter with softness and sincerity.
Not staged. Can be only 10 minutes if you wish.
Not matching outfits (unless you want to)
Just the two of you, as you really are.
